Thanks for posting - although the phrase is so familiar and I knew it was a Noel Coward song, I don't remember ever listening to the song before!
I didn`t notice any `lovely screens in the Philippines` when I went there. The earlier recording from the 1930`s probably makes easier listening.
Hmmm, don't know about lovely screens, probably you have to stay in an ex-colonial Spanish mansion to find those... however I haven't been to the Philippines since I was a teenager, so can't claim any expertise!
! I keep forgetting you have this other blog! Neat video. I've always liked Coward, but haven't seen this vid.
